CRUMBLING CLOUD

Coming from the Northside of Melbourne – Australia, Chris aka Crumbling Cloud is at the forefront of
spearheading a UK Hardcore presence in the state of Victoria. Passionate about music from an early
age, Hard Dance hitting the shores of Australia in the early 2000s and taking the Melbourne Shuffle
scene by storm sent him down a new path of music enthusiasm as a young teen.
By the time 2018 came around, he found himself on a mission to achieve his dreams of living the life
of an Electronic Music Artist, quitting the corporate life and studying Music Production and Audio at
SAE Melbourne (School of Audio Engineering). Starting off as an aspiring Hardstyle producer at the
time, it was in 2021 where he turned his sights towards UK Hardcore/Happy Hardcore after noticing a
burgeoning passion for the genre as well as a void of genre representation in his local scene.
Not one to let setbacks hinder him from fulfilling his purpose, he took to Twitch to perform his DJ sets
and set himself up in the scene during the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent absence of live
club and event booking opportunities that followed. With that he was able to establish a grassroots
following and establish his roots in spite of the circumstances.
Since the end of pandemic restrictions, he has been determined to take his mission to the next level,
with releases of remixes on SoundCloud (his remix of BLACKPINK’s ‘How You Like That’ garnering
significant attention), his first label release at the tail end of 2022 and a slew of live bookings in 2023.
Now armed with catchy yet emotionally compelling melodies, the man affectionately referred to as
Cloud/Cloudy is ready to take on the world of Hard Dance.
